Overview

The Bank Security Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining user access and controls across the company’s banking platforms in compliance with internal controls and security protocols. This role also supports the treasury and accounts receivable teams by assisting with cash application tasks, ensuring timely and accurate application of incoming payments to customer accounts.

Responsibilities

Bank Security Administration:

  • Administer user access for all corporate banking portals, including onboarding, modifications, and deactivations.
  • Maintain centralized documentation for all banking users and access controls.
  • Liaise with banking partners to resolve technical issues and process access changes.
  • Perform periodic reviews of user access and entitlements, ensuring alignment with internal controls and SOX compliance.
  • Track and escalate unauthorized or outdated user access; support internal and external audit requests.
  • Coordinate with IT, Finance, and Compliance teams on banking security matters and policy updates.

Cash Application Support:

  • Assist with daily cash application activities across multiple bank accounts and business units.
  • Match incoming payments to open receivables using remittance advice, bank data, and ERP systems.
  • Research and resolve unapplied or misapplied payments in coordination with the AR team.
  • Support month-end close activities including cash reconciliation and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in banking administration, treasury operations, or accounts receivable.
  • Experience with online banking platforms (e.g., Bank of America CashPro, JPM Access, CitiDirect).
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and treasury workstations preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and understanding of internal controls.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
